Chimoney, Fulltime contract – (November 2021 - Present) Payment infrastructure and API company.

As a product designer, I am:

Leading the design and documentation of the Chimoney bulk payment app. This has led to the adoption of the platform in 37 African countries, the US and Canada with over 70,000 USD processed (in Jan 2022).

Leading the design of ChiSpend embedded crypto app. This has led to over 5 wallet integrations (Metamask, Status, Xumm, Chimoney, and Valora wallets.)

Collaborating and brainstorming with product managers and stakeholders on product updates and new initiatives.

BezoMoney, Contract – (August 2021 - April 2022) Personal and group savings app.

As one of the early-stage product designers working on the BezoSusu web app product team, I accomplished the following;

Led and collaborated on the design and documentation of the BezoSusu personal and group savings web app. This led to an 80% increase in user base, an average of 200,000 Ghana Cedis in group and personal deposits (in April 2022).

Collaborated with the research team to carry out usability tests and gain insights on user engagement this led to the partnership of over 50 registered cooperative saving groups in Ghana.

Introduced research tools and design documentation processes to the product team which improved design operations

AfricaHacks, Part-time – (July 2020 - December 2021) Tech hackathons and community building

As a product designer on the team, I accomplished the following:

Led the research and UI/UX design of start.africahacks.com. The platform was used to successfully host AfricaHacks Hackathon (the largest hackathon in Africa. )

Mentored 4 teams in the 2020 AfricaHacks hackathon with one team emerging as a category winner.

MobiCure, Full time – (Nov 2020 - July 2021) Healthtech company

I joined Mobicure as a staff product designer, during my time there I accomplished the following:

Collaborated with the lead designer on designing an internal database dashboard for storing doctor and counsellors' information for the myPaddi app.

Participated in brainstorming sessions with product managers and stakeholders on product strategies.

L-IFT (Low-income Financial Transformation), Full time – (Oct 2018 - Dec 2020) Boutique Financial research company

As a researcher on the team, I accomplished the following:

Carried out dairies research for the Finbit app. I engaged and interviewed 20 app users weekly about their saving patterns in local regions (Benin-city, Edo state). From this research, 70% of respondents learned and improved their saving habits which led to them improving their businesses and lives in general.
